Homemade Korean Food

Since I have an off day on every Wednesday, I decided to stay home and prepare dinner for mummy and bf last week :)) Instead of waking up at the usual time which is after the sun has risen up high in the sky, I set the alarm to wake me up at 11am. Yes, waking up early on an off day just to finish up the needed preparations for dinner. Feeling so much like a housewife, fuhhh.

So anyway, it was a really simple dinner prepared by me. I say simple because instead of making the sauces on my own, I used the ready made sauces which I bought in a Korean supermarket in Ampang with JJY. I've tried her mom's sauces a few times before and they taste superbly awesome, but it's quite complicated if I were to make the sauce on my own. So yes, decided to get the ready made one instead. Of course it wouldn't be as nice as the homemade by JJY's mom, but still, something close to it will do for now. Kekeke.

There wasn't much preparations that needed to be done. Just chopping garlic and slicing onions and then marinating the pork and chicken in their respective sauces.

These are the two ready made sauces that I used :D

Black sauce is for Beef Bulgogi while the red sauce is for Pork Bulgogi

However, I made pork with Beef Bulgogi sauce and chicken with Pork Bulgogi sauce.

Very easy! I marinated them with the sauce along with garlic and onions only.

Later at night, we had a really late dinner as the bf came home late due to OT. Started cooking dinner while he was on his way back so that the foods will be ready by the time he reaches home. But who knew it took longer time than expected for cooking these. Kekeke.

Shouldn't have bought this part of pork as it's full of fats

Made the chicken burnt a lil on purpose :P

It was indeed delicious. Glad both mummy and the bf liked it (;

Shall think of other ways to make full use of the sauces :DD

Oh yes, sorry for the lack of updates. Has been busy lately (don't know busy with what though :X) and I just came back from a 3D2N trip at Golden Palm Tree, Sepang with my family and relatives. Took tonnes of pictures and I shall update about the trip after I've filtered and modify and beautify and sexify the pictures (a phrase learned from my friend -_-). Which I don't know when, so no promises! But 'twas a really nice trip I must say.
